About us.

The Sanskar Foundation provides educational sponsorship to underprivileged children in its premises and helps them become self-reliant.Among these children is Lalsu Tumreti, who was once an educational beneficiary of the Sanskar Foundation. After completing his degree, he decided to pursue improved farming techniques. Initially, his income from farming was low. To address this, the president of the foundation, Mr. Vijay Sanskar, provided him with timely guidance and support. With persistence and hard work, Lalsu has now achieved remarkable progress in agriculture.

Traditionally, after growing rice, farmers would leave their fields fallow. However, with the guidance he received, Lalsu began cultivating crops like maize, pigeon pea, and more alongside rice. By implementing farm ponds and solar-powered agricultural pumps, Lalsu was able to increase his productivity and income

Journey of Transformation

Lalsu’s journey began in a simple village with very limited educational resources. With the help of the Sanskar Foundation, he completed his education and gained in-depth knowledge of modern agricultural techniques and technologies. Supported by education, guidance from Mr. Vijay Sanskar, and assistance from Gosu Hichami, a fellow student and agricultural advisor, Lalsu adopted a new approach to farming.

He integrated organic farming, irrigation management, crop rotation, and modern agricultural tools into his practices. Starting with a small piece of land, Lalsu has now expanded his farming business, producing various crops. Additionally, he advises other farmers and guides them on modern agricultural methods. His dedication and proper use of technology have led to higher yields and significant improvement in his economic condition.

Lalsu’s success has become an inspiration not only for his family but for his entire village. He demonstrates that education and consistent effort can lead to success in any field. Many other students from the foundation are also making significant progress in agriculture, following Lalsu’s example.
